WEDNESFIELD, England — Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash, which happened near Wolverhampton’s New Cross Hospital.
The ambulance and Ford Fiesta, which were travelling in opposite directions, collided at a traffic light-controlled junction.
Inquiries were today ongoing to establish if either went through a red light before the impact. The two staff on the ambulance treated the woman and child from the car at the scene before all four were taken to New Cross Hospital for check ups and treatment.
