GREENSBORO, N.C. — Three people were injured in chain reaction from an ambulance collision on Wednesday.
Police say the ambulance had lights and sirens and had cleared an intersection when it collided with a Honda Accord, FOX News reports.
The ambulance then struck a City of Greensboro work truck. The Accord struck a utility pole and debris from the accident struck a nearby pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a person in the Accord and an occupant in the ambulance were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Their injuries were non-life threatening, police said. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
