IDAHO FALLS, Idaho — Two firefighters were injured after an ambulance crashed into the back of their fire truck.
EastIdahoNews.com reported the ambulance was following the Idaho National Laboratory fire truck when it suddenly stopped to avoid hitting an animal in the road.
The ambulance was not able to stop in time and rear-ended the fire truck. Two firefighters were hurt and had to be taken the hospital.
Crews were not responding to an emergency and there was no patient in the ambulance at the time of the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
