KANCHANABURI, Thailand — An ambulance that veered off a road in Thailand killed a patient and left five others injured Monday.
Six people were found in the wreckage of the ambulance, including a patient that was being transported for injuries sustained in a previous crash. Two nurses, the driver and two of the patient’s relatives were also injured, reported the Bangkok Post.
All six were taken to the hospital, where the patient, Chatchai Ruangdet, 28, died shortly after.
According to the driver, Chatri Naksopha, 45, it was raining heavily when he lost control of the ambulance and veered into a ditch.
