PROVIDENCE, R.I. — An ambulance was struck Monday while crossing an intersection en route to a call.
Officials told WPRI that as the ambulance was crossing an intersection during a red light, another vehicle failed to yield and struck them.
A third car traveling in the opposite direction of the ambulance was also involved.
Four adults and two children were transported to the hospital, reported the Daily Progress. The fire department reported the injuries were not life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation.
