Dump truck, ambulance collision injures 3

The ambulance was en route to a hospital after responding to a car crash involving their patient onboard

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. — Three people, including a patient, were injured after an ambulance and dump truck collided Wednesday.

FOX59.com reported that Kelsey Foster, who was driving the ambulance, failed to see the truck, driven by Randall Moon, making a turn. Foster veered off the roadway, traveled through a ditch and struck the rear tires of the dump truck.

Foster, paramedic Joseph Scott and patient Duane Wampler were transported to a hospital for treatment.

The ambulance was en route to a hospital after responding to a car crash involving Wampler.

The driver of the dump truck was not hurt.
