WEYMOUTH, Mass. — Three people were hospitalized after an ambulance and car collided head-on Thursday evening.
Boston 25 News reported that the South Shore EMS ambulance collided with another car at an intersection. The ambulance was responding to a hit-and-run crash, and the car that struck the ambulance was reportedly fleeing from the scene of the same crash.
The driver who struck the ambulance was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries, according to the report. Both the ambulance and the driver’s car were towed from the scene.
It is unclear at this time whether any EMS personnel were injured in the crash, according to the report.
