2 paramedics hurt in Fla. ambulance crash

Firefighters had to extricate the paramedics and one other person from another vehicle after a crash occurred while the paramedics were responding to a call

LARGO, Fla. — Two paramedics were injured in an ambulance crash Thursday.

WFLA reported that the Sunstar paramedic crew was responding to a call when their ambulance collided with another vehicle, causing the vehicle to flip over, according to Largo Fire Department.

The paramedics were extricated by firefighters, who also extricated the driver of the other vehicle.

All three people were transported to the hospital in stable condition.

There was no patient in the ambulance at the time of the crash.
