CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An ambulance running with lights and sirens activated was struck by a vehicle as it crossed an intersection Sunday night.
The impact caused the ambulance to crash into an SUV that was stopped at a red light, The Charlotte Observer reported.
Three people, including two EMS providers from Mecklenburg EMS, were injured.
