2 Md. EMS providers injured in ambulance rollover crash

The ambulance was responding to a reported building fire when it collided with another vehicle

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — Two Maryland EMS providers were injured when an ambulance and another vehicle collided, ultimately resulting in the ambulance flipping on its side.

The Prince George’s County Fire and EMS ambulance was en route to a reported building fire on Thursday afternoon when the crash occurred, according to the agency.

The two EMS providers sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

The department said it is investigating the incident.
