OKLAHOMA CITY — A patient was killed and two EMS providers were hurt in an ambulance rollover crash Wednesday.
NewsOK reported that Carolyn Koch, 66, was ejected from the ambulance after it rolled over and came apart. She died on the scene from a head injury.
EMS provider Matthew Erickson, 32, and paramedic Chelsea Stewart, 28, were transported to the hospital in good condition.
Erickson was driving the ambulance on the highway when he went off the road. The compartment was destroyed on impact when it separated from the ambulance and landed upside down.
