DAVIESS COUNTY, Ind. — An ambulance transporting a patient collided with a horse-drawn buggy, resulting in one person being taken to the hospital.
FOX59 reported that the ambulance was on its way to the hospital with its emergency lights activated when the buggy turned in front of the ambulance.
EMS provider Dawn Wagoner said she did not have time to avoid the buggy and crashed into its side, causing the buggy to flip over.
A passenger of the buggy was transported to the hospital, and the buggy’s driver and another passenger suffered cuts and bruises, while the buggy sustained extensive damage.
No one in the ambulance was injured.
