BRAINERD, Minn. — A boy called 911 after his mother began seizing while they were alone.
On Oct. 9, Allison Doyle was working at Tower Motors, the used car dealership she owns with her husband, when she began having a seizure. Her 7-year-old son, Kristopher, and 3-year-old daughter, Johannnah, were the only people with her, The Brainerd Dispatch reported.
Kristopher told The Dispatch that his mom “started shaking a lot,” and he didn’t know any other numbers to call, so he dialed 911.
When the 911 dispatcher asked where to send the ambulance, Kristopher went to the front desk and read the information obtained from a business card.
“It was awesome, I am so proud of him,” Marsha Putnam, Doyle’s aunt, said. “I didn’t even know how he did it. I am proud of him for calling 911 instead of freaking out and screaming, ‘Mommy!’”
