WILDWOOD, Fla. — A Florida paramedic has been arrested and charged with sexual battery for allegedly raping his coworker in the back of their ambulance during their shift on July 25, 2022.
Gabriel Trujillo allegedly forced himself on an EMT while inside an ambulance parked at a church in Wildwood, ClickOrlando.com reported. The two were employees of American Medical Response at the time.
According to the affidavit, the EMT told Trujillo she was going to take a nap on the cot, and shortly after she fell asleep,
Trujillo approached her, kissed her and removed her clothing before having sex with her against her will.
Trujillo is out on bond. American Medical Response says he is no longer employed with them and that they are fully cooperating with law enforcement, WESH reported.
