LARGO, Fla. — A 29-year-old Tampa Bay area paramedic is accused of stealing drugs for his own personal use. Pinellas County Detectives say Tim Dionian, who was an employee with Sunstar Paramedics, of removing drugs from sealed containers and replacing them with a clear liquid.

Dionian is charged with seven counts of grand theft and seven counts of possession of a controlled substance. The drug he allegedly stole is Fentanyl, a pain killer. Fentanyl is 80 times more potent than morphine and up to 50 times more potent than heroin, according to medical websites.

News Channel 8 visited Tim Dionian’s apartment in Bradenton. Nobody answered the door at the home he shares with family members. While the family name is on the mail box, neighbors were not familiar with Dionian.
