CHICAGO — Police say a man dressed in a firefighter's uniform stole a private ambulance in Chicago and then stole a car.
The suspect reportedly drove the ambulance several blocks Saturday morning before stopping and telling the owner of the car he needed to move it for an emergency, according to WGN 9. The man then moved items from the ambulance into the car and drove away, authorities said.
Chicago police are now searching for the suspect and the stolen vehicle, which was described as a white Ford Fusion with a Blackhawks license plate.
