PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — A Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department ambulance responding to a medical emergency call collided with a civilian vehicle on Tuesday morning.
Two civilians and two crew members sustained minor, non-life threatening injuries. Three of the four victims were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The ambulance suffered roughly $20,000 worth of damage and is out of service until repairs can be made.
The incident is under investigation.
Other Fire/EMS units originally responding to the medical emergency call and others dispatched after the departmental crash handled that incident.
