ANN ARBOR, Mich. — A new maize-and-blue ambulance has entered service in Ann Arbor ahead of Michigan football’s first home game.
The University of Michigan provided $346,000 for the ambulance, which will operate year-round and give the Ann Arbor Fire Department additional EMS capacity. The unit, the third ambulance added to the city fleet since 2023, entered service Sept. 3.
