TIJUANA, Mexico — After being on the run for more than a week, police have confirmed the arrest of Troy Aaron Clay II, the suspect accused of allegedly murdering his girlfriend in the Fall Creek area, in Mexico.
The U.S. marshals, the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitives Task Force along with the help of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office captured Clay overnight near Tijuana, Mexico.
“He is currently in San Diego awaiting extradition back to Houston to face the murder charge,” Dep.
