NEW YORK — A video shows an FDNY ambulance with its lights and sirens activated stuck behind a UPS truck parked in the street.

Inside Edition reported that a bystander recorded a UPS truck blocking traffic when an ambulance pulled up behind it.

The UPS driver can be seen rearranging the truck’s passenger side mirror, but the EMS crew can still not pass by and begins honking at the truck.

The ambulance is then shown waiting for the UPS driver to pull ahead so that it can get by.

“If this would have been your family, would you have stayed, too?” the video recorder can be heard asking the driver.

“Do me a favor. Could you move out of my way? Let me pass, please,” the driver says.

UPS later said in a statement that it “trains its drivers to follow all traffic laws, which includes allowing emergency vehicles to pass. We are aware of the situation and (are) taking appropriate action.”
