BOSTON — Authorities say a shooting in a Boston suburb has left one man dead and a handful of other people injured, including two 15-year-olds.
The shooting happened just before 2:45 a.m. Sunday at a building in Chelsea, a few miles from Logan International Airport.
Responding officers found seven people with gunshot wounds, including one who died of his injuries.
The Suffolk district attorney’s office identified the deceased victim as a 19-year-old Chelsea man. His name is being withheld until his family is notified.
Seven people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One of them had injuries unrelated to gunfire.
The surviving shooting victims are three females, ages 15, 17 and 18, and three males, ages 15, 18 and 22.
No arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
