MELBOURNE, Australia — Ambulance officers say there was chaos after a balcony collapsed in Melbourne’s north-east last night in the middle of an engagement party, injuring 13 people.
Ambulance crews were called to a house at Hurstbridge when the three-metre-high, wooden balcony collapsed about 8:30pm AEDT.
Some revellers were standing on the balcony when it collapsed, while others had the wooden structure fall on top of them.
