NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — The state Department of Public Health has recommended two New Bedford paramedics be suspended for 30 days for failing to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on a baby in cardiac arrest during an emergency call in December.
The two paramedics — Rosemary Nunes and Ivan Brody — also were cited for inaccurately recording the details of that December emergency call, according to a complaint investigation report issued by the public health department.
