TRU-SPEC® to release line of fire-resistant station wear
MARIETTA, Ga. — TRU-SPEC®, a leading supplier of uniforms and personal equipment to the military, law enforcement, public safety and shooting sports markets, introduces the XFIRE™ collection, a line of fire resistant station wear built with the Fire, EMS and Industrial professional in mind.
Designed with a professional appearance, the XFIRE® collection is built with the features and comfort of our popular 24-7 Series® pants, but with a fire-resistant fabric to give fire, EMS and industrial personnel an added layer of protection. Included in the 6 piece collection are: a cargo pant, a non-cargo pant, a dress shirt, short and long sleeve t-shirts, and a pullover job shirt.
The XFIRE® Pants and Dress Shirt are constructed from a 7.5 oz durable Fire Resistant (FR) 100% cotton woven fabric with a FR Category 2 HRC rating and are certified to meet or exceed NFPA 1975FR, 70E, and 2112 standards. The pants are available in two styles – with cargo pockets or without – and offer extra deep front pockets, knife pocket, and expandable back pockets to store accessories. The DropN pocket on the cargo pant conveniently fits most cell phones. The Dress Shirt offers a tapered body for a professional look, with chest pockets, hidden document pockets and pen stalls.
The XFIRE® Job Shirt is a 55% modacrylic / 45% cotton blend with a FR Category 2 HRC rating and is certified to meet or exceed NFPA 70E. The fleece shell offers maximum comfort and warmth. A deep chest radio pocket and a pen stall on each sleeve keep necessities in close reach.
The XFIRE® T-shirts, with a 70% Modacrylic / 30% Tencel jersey cotton construction, carry a FR Category 1 HRC rating. With the choice of long or short sleeve, these are a great fit for any season. Lightweight, breathable, and moisture wicking technology insures all-day comfort.
