AIRVAC 911 Helps Chattanooga Fire Dept. Achieve LEED Gold Status

Chattanooga, TN — The Air Vacuum Corporation would like to congratulate the City of Chattanooga for being the first fire department in the state of Tennessee to achieve LEED Gold status for their station. The Air Vacuum Corporation was included in this project by installing their AIRVAC 911 exhaust removal system into the fire department to provide health and safety from diesel exhaust carcinogens for fire personnel. With the AIRVAC 911 system, fire personnel can be assured that they are choosing the most efficient exhaust removal system for their apparatus bay area. The AIRVAC 911 system is energy efficient, addresses the entire apparatus area and filters out both the gasses and particulate emitted from the diesel engines. The AIRVAC 911 exhaust removal system uses a MERV 16 rated pre-filter, high efficiency UL rated HEPA MAX 3000 particulate filter and Multisorb 3000 carbon gas phase extractor.
