LOS ANGELES — A LAFD ambulance transporting a patient collided with another vehicle on a slippery road Monday.
The crash occurred as the ambulance was transporting a woman to the hospital. A paramedic suffered a head wound in the collision, but the patient was unharmed. The patient was taken to the hospital in another ambulance, reported the Daily News.
Los Angeles Fire Department PIO Brian Humphrey said the other driver suffered from “wrist discomfort,” but was not taken to the hospital.
