JACKSON, Miss. — Six people were injured after a crash involving an AMR ambulance and two other vehicles Tuesday afternoon.
MS News Now reported that a patient, EMT and paramedic were inside the ambulance during a non-emergency transport when the crash occurred. All three were injured and taken to a hospital.
Three others were also injured and transported to a hospital.
Jim Pollard, public affairs manager with AMR, said the injuries vary in severity, but at least one person is in serious condition. It was not immediately clear which vehicle that person had been in.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
