PHOENIX — A taxi driver was arrested after crashing into an ambulance Thursday morning.
ABC15 reported that taxi driver Joel A. Honeycutt, who was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI, ran from the crash scene but was located later. A passenger in the back seat of the taxi was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
The EMS providers in the ambulance were taken to the hospital for precaution; there were no patients in the rig.
Drugs were also reportedly found on Honeycutt.
