NEW YORK — An FDNY ambulance hit and killed an elderly man Wednesday evening as he was attempting to cross a roadway.
Officials told CBS New York the ambulance pulled over after the incident and EMS personnel provided aid to the 89-year-old man. He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are investigating the incident.
