Medics on standby at Ark. pool during peak hours

6 paramedics from the Rogers Fire Department will take turns providing ALS care at the busy aquatic center

ROGERS, Ark. — There is going to be some extra help at the Rogers Aquatic Center this summer to make sure swimmers are safe. The Rogers Fire Department will be sending a paramedic to the park during peak hours.

The aquatic center director said more than 1,000 people visit the center daily, so she reached out to the fire department about lending a hand.

Lacie Johnson is part of the 6 person team that will take turns at the center on busy days.
