DETROIT — A man was shot in the groin after refusing to give up his bag of chips.
The 59-year-old man was walking down the street when another man approached him and snatched his chips from his hand. The victim reportedly told the suspect, “Give me back my chips,” and grabbed them back. That’s when the suspect pulled out a gun, shot him in the groin and ran off with the potato chips, The Detroit News reported.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
