JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — The best way to provide emergency medical service in Johns-town – and who should provide it – will be debated in the coming months.
There remain deep concerns about a proposal that would consolidate medical response into the city’s fire department, eliminating the need for the city’s two independent ambulance services.
But representatives of those two services – West End and Seventh Ward — agreed Wednesday to at least discuss the move.
