Documentary film shows life of Pakistani medics
From heavy traffic, to poor equipment, to terrorism victims, 'ambulance drivers' in Karachi have seen it all
KARACHI, Pakistan — A new documentary film looks at the life Karachi "ambulance drivers" — called some of the bravest public servants —and shows the city through their eyes.
The film was made the University of Karachi Visual studies department with support from the Foundation for Democracy and Sustainable Development, according to The Dawn.
The film shows the level of disrespect those with wealth show toward public servants, relays medics' experiences with terrorism victims and discusses what the law and Islam allow them to get away with as life-savers.
