LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. — A man was charged and jailed after allegedly assaulting an EMS provider, WAFF reported.
Court documents say that employees of Shoals Ambulance Service were transporting Matthew Markley on March 12 when he started hitting a provider. Police arrived to help, and the ambulance crew continued on to the hospital.
The crewmember who was hit was found to have suffered a broken rib in the exchange.
