This week’s Photo of the Week comes from Susquehanna Valley (Pa.) EMS, showing EMT Sage Forren bringing groceries to a resident at a low-income senior apartment complex in Mt. Joy.
Recognizing that it is difficult for seniors to shop during the pandemic, the agency partnered with The GIANT Company supermarket chain and received a grant to purchase non-perishable food items. EMS providers hand-delivered the items to 27 residents at the complex.
