ATLANTA — A mother is searching for an EMT who jumped into action to save the life of her 2-year-old daughter after witnessing a car crash.

WMAZ reported that Henley Wilder received a call from her mother on Easter Sunday saying that her toddler was in a crash.

“I got a phone call from my mom at work, saying my baby had been in a car wreck and was knocked unconscious, but I had no clue how bad it actually was,” Wilder said.

The toddler, Jaye, suffered a broken neck and an injured spine, but Wilder said she could have died had it not been for an off-duty EMT who helped save her.

“She pulled her out of the car and she did CPR on her and got her back breathing,” Wilder said. “If it wasn’t for that, she could have been dead or brain dead, she literally saved her life.”

Wilder is now searching for the EMT who rescued her daughter, who is currently undergoing rehabilitation.

“I’m so, so thankful for her, I really feel like I owe her the world, which I can’t give her, but I want her to get some recognition for being the angel that she was,” Wilder said. “She literally saved my baby’s life.”
