LANCASTER, Pa. — An 8-year-old girl earned $500 by making and selling pot holders and caterpillar pins, then turned around and gave the money to Lancaster EMS, where it will benefit other children.
The donation will be used to buy winter coats and blankets for the agency’s 5th annual “Warm Up Lancaster” event, where EMS providers distribute blankets, coats, gloves and hats to locals. It will be held the first weekend in November.
“Thank you very much to this little girl,” Lancaster EMS wrote on their Facebook page. “We appreciate this very much!”
