CYPRESS, Texas — A Texas woman was reunited seven years later with the paramedic who saved her life after she collapsed at work.
Betsey Raierie went into cardiac arrest when she was at work in 2012, ABC 13 reported. When Cypress Creek EMS paramedics responded to the scene, they restarted her heart and stabilized her during transport.
The incident made such an impact on Raierie that she decided to become CPR certified with Cypress Creek EMS.
During the reunion, paramedics showed her the devices they used to save her life.
