DOVER, Del. — A paramedic resigned after being arrested for stalking his ex-girlfriend.

WBOC reported that Kent County Department of Public Safety paramedic Ralph Poore was charged with stalking his ex-girlfriend after a neighbor said they saw him pull up to the ex-girlfriend’s house, in uniform, and fled after a neighbor made contact, according to police.

Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said the ex-girlfriend expressed to Poore that she wanted to end contact after he “repeatedly made statements that placed her in fear for her safety.”

Poore was arrested at work and is scheduled to appear in court Friday.
