The International Association of EMS Chiefs (IAEMSC) represents the Chief EMS operational officials responsible for EMS response in the United States. Annually, these Chief Officers oversee and manage millions of emergency responses to medical emergencies throughout the nation in the urban, suburban, rural and wilderness environments.
The IAEMSC fervently believes that an appropriate memorial dedicated to, and the highlighting of the professionalism and valor of EMT’s and Paramedics who have made the ultimate sacrifice in public service to their community and country should be promulgated in our Nation’s Capital Region. We believe and are of the position that ideally this memorial should be located in Washington, DC or its environs.
The International Association of EMS Chiefs is committed to assist with achieving this important goal in all ways available to our organization and membership.
