Flight paramedic returns to duty after losing leg in crash

LONDON, Ky. — A flight paramedic who lost his leg in a motorcycle crash nearly two years ago is returning to duty. 

Jason Buck was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash July 2015 and had his right leg amputated. 

Since the crash, Buck has gone through multiple hospital stays, surgeries and months of rehabilitation.

“Due to his perseverance and power, Buck was fit for a prosthetic leg, had extensive rehabilitation and is back and PHIT for duty,” announced PHI 2 London KY.
