BRAMPTON, England — Contract crews working for an under-fire ambulance trust are camping at a site near Huntingdon to save on living costs.
The ambulance staff, who work for ERS Medical, have been staying at The Willows Caravan Park in Brampton, which is close to Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
ERS is contracted to the East of England Ambulance Service Trust which has been slammed for its services, including a delay in reaching 14-year-old Elouise Keeling, from Ellington, who died after an asthma attack. Four of the medics - two men and two women - are currently staying in three tents at the site.
