3 paramedics injured after ambulance struck by fallen tree

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. — Three paramedics sustained minor injuries after a tree fell onto their ambulance.
The Huntsville Emergency Medical Services Inc. (HEMSI) paramedics were transporting a patient when the tree fell, striking the windshield, according to WAAY.
The patient and EMS providers were all transported to the emergency room for treatment following the incident.
HEMSI Spokesman Don Webster said the damage is being assessed to determine whether the rig can be repaired.
