Mo. woman drives to ambulance station after being shot

She had injuries to her left arm, shoulder, chest and face after the bullet from a rifle went through her windshield

OWENSVILLE, Mo — A Gasconade County woman is recovering from a gunshot wound after she was shot through the windshield of a car. She then drove herself to the ambulance.

The Gasconade County Sheriff’s Department says around 8:30 Thursday night, 56-year-old Debbie Choris of Bland drove herself to an ambulance building in Owensville. She had injuries to her left arm, shoulder, chest, and face, all from a gunshot wound.

Officers say Choris and a female passenger had pulled in the driveway of a home on Hwy P, north of Owensville.
