SUSANVILLE, Nev. — Clint Reger, James Bradshaw and Christopher Ritz were remembered on Friday as selfless heroes who made a difference in the lives of those they saved and those who knew them.
More than 1,000 people, including paramedics and firefighters from across Northern California and Northern Nevada, packed the Mountain Lifeflight hangar at Susanville Airport to pay tribute to Regar, Bradshaw and Ritz, the crew of the Mountain Lifeflight helicopter who were killed when their craft went down near the Nevada-California state line in the early morning hours of Nov. 14.
They had just dropped off a patient at Renown Medical Center in Reno and was returning to base in Susanville.
