WALDORF, Md. — A woman was seriously injured when the Cadillac Escalade she was driving collided head-on with a school bus Wednesday morning in Charles County.
The bus was carrying 35 students from North Point High School when it crashed around 7:50 a.m. in the 2400 block of Davis Road in Waldorf.
A photo taken from a helicopter above the accident showed the bus came to rest off the road and beside a seafood trailer. The bus and SUV sustained heavy front-end damage in the wreck.
