Another off-duty paramedic who was with Stow placed the 911 call

SAN FRANCISCO — The tapes containing the 911 call made to authorities the evening Bryan Stow was viciously beaten outside Dodger Stadium was released yesterday during trial.

It’s the first time the public has heard the 911 call made by another off-duty paramedic who was with Stow at the Dodgers and Giants opener on March 31, 2011. The caller indicates that Stow, a Giants fan from Santa Cruz, was blindsided when he was punched in the head and nearly beaten to death. He fell to the ground, hitting his head which left him with lifelong trauma. Stow was in a coma for several months and is now permanently disabled.

Stow lay bleeding in the parking lot outside the stadium as his friend waited for an ambulance to arrive. Listen to the call:
