NEW YORK — FDNY EMT Robert Marshall, 29, was indicted by a grand jury and arraigned in Supreme Court, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced this week.
Marshall is accused of stealing a debit card from the purse of a senior citizen he was treating on Aug. 8 and using it to buy food and two bottles of Moet champagne.
The patient noticed her card was missing several days after after being transported to a hospital.
Marshall was arraigned before Queens Supreme Court Justice Toni Cimino on a 12-count indictment.
Cimino set the defendant’s return date for Dec. 16. Marshall faces up to 7 years in prison.
