MUNCIE, Ind. — Medics pulled over a drunk driver before police arrived after seeing her hit two vehicles.
A Delaware County EMS vehicle saw Jamie Dawn Burnett, 36, strike two vehicles late Monday night, according to the Star Press.
When the medics turned on their emergency lights, Burnett stopped and the medics pulled her over.
Police officers who later arrived said that she was unable to pass dexterity tests and that “she fell over hitting an ice machine.”
A breath test revealed that her blood alcohol level was 0.14. In Ind., the legal limit is 0.08.
Officers also found Oxycodone in Burnett’s pocket and purse.
