PASADENA, Calif. — A drunk high school student punched a paramedic while being transported from campus to the hospital Thursday.
Pasadena High security staff found the 15-year-old, said to be “extremely intoxicated,” at physical education class.
When medics arrived, the boy became verbally abusive and responders restrained him before taking him to Huntington Memorial Hospital, according to The Los Angeles Times.
When they loosened the restraints at the emergency room, police say the student punched a medic in the face.
He was issued a citation for assault.
